CHUCK THOMPSON - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Meet Chuck Thompson, an amazing Occupational Therapist at Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital. He loves the camaraderie he feels with his team members. “I love the atmosphere when you walk in,” he explains. “I love that I can help with the garden and see patients enjoy the plants.”
Although Chuck originally wanted to become a physical therapist, he said, “I shadowed a few OTs and loved it. I loved the holistic approach to working with patients. I loved that the mental health and quality of life were important when considering a patient’s rehabilitation.”

AMANDA BORDEN - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE
Meet Amanda Borden, our amazing Administrative Assistant. Amanda has been part of our team for almost six months. She is a fantastic resource for not only the Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital staff but also the patients and families.
Although Amanda is primarily responsible for administrative tasks, she also greets every patient and family member with a smile, assists with admissions and helps plan exciting monthly celebrations. She loves getting to know our patients’ stories and considers herself a bit of a history buff.
