Meet Chuck Thompson, an amazing Occupational Therapist at Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital. He loves the camaraderie he feels with his team members. “I love the atmosphere when you walk in,” he explains. “I love that I can help with the garden and see patients enjoy the plants.” Although Chuck originally wanted to become a physical therapist, he said, “I shadowed a few OTs and loved it. I loved the holistic approach to working with patients. I loved that the mental health and quality of life were important when considering a patient’s rehabilitation.”
